New York — While it's certainly better than last season's 5-23 start, the Pistons' first quarter of the season has been something of a roller-coaster ride.
The ups and downs have been puzzling and the side-to-side shifts within the journey have been enough to make some fans reaching for their Dramamine. The good news, though, is that the 8-8 Pistons haven't dipped below .500 in the first 16 games, entering Sunday night's matchup at the Brooklyn Nets.
Along the way, there have been plenty of noteworthy wins — the opening win at Atlanta, over the Jazz, Bulls, Cavaliers and Heat — but also some head-scratching losses.
