The Detroit Pistons are set to hire David Mincberg away from the Milwaukee Bucks to serve as an assistant general manager, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Mincberg most recently spent three years with the Bucks serving as VP of basketball strategy under GM Jon Horst.
Before his time in Milwaukee, he worked for the Memphis Grizzlies for five years as the director of scouting. Mincberg is an attorney by training, with a law degree from UC Berkley, and served as the lead attorney for the Grizzlies before being elevated to be more involved in the basketball operations side of things where he worked with current Pistons senior adviser Ed Stefanski.
