Portland, Ore. — In the Pacific Northwest, winter isn’t quite the same as in Detroit.
A weather forecast of freezing rain in Portland is a little more severe than in the Midwest and the threat of dangerous weather conditions caused the NBA to postpone Saturday night’s matchup between the Pistons and Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center.
The game is rescheduled for Sunday night at 9 Eastern Time (6 Pacific Time).
The Pistons are starting a five-game western trip and next play at Sacramento on Tuesday; the Blazers also play Tuesday, at the Los Angeles Lakers.
