Boston — This time, there wasn’t a first-half shooting drought that led to the Pistons’ demise against the Boston Celtics.
It came in the third quarter.
The Pistons had a slow start but erased the early deficit and took the lead at halftime — only to fall into another hole. They couldn’t dig out of that one, as the Celtics completed their home-and-home sweep of the Pistons, 108-105, on Tuesday night at TD Garden.
Blake Griffin had 24 points and 15 rebounds and Andre Drummond 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Pistons (4-2), who play Wednesday at Brooklyn.
