Banged up by injuries and playing inconsistently of late, the Detroit Pistons are looking for help.
Coach and president of basketball operations Stan Van Gundy confirmed to beat writers after Tuesday's practice in New Orleans that the team is exploring trade possibilities.
"We've got Jon (Leuer) down and Reggie (Jackson) down. There's a lot of need and we're looking around," Van Gundy told reporters. "We don't have anything going on right now, but we're looking around for people to fill holes."
Chicago Bulls big man Nikola Mirotic is a possibility. Marc Stein of The New York Times reported Tuesday that the Pistons have expressed interest in the 6-10 Mirotic, who is averaging 17.
