ANN ARBOR - The disparity in the Detroit Pistons record last season with and without Reggie Jackson is starting to make sense for new coach Dwane Casey, after watching his starting point guard in five-on-five drills the past two days.
"Reggie Jackson, I understand now why the team missed him so much last year," Casey said. "His play, his understanding of the game, what everybody does."
Jackson was back at full speed Thursday during training camp at Crisler Center, after a summer of rehabbing his surgically repaired right ankle prevented him from participating in off-season basketball activities.
