Philadelphia — If Friday night’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets was a gut punch, the prospect of losing a second straight, to the Philadelphia 76ers, might have been a haymaker.
The lowly Sixers, sporting a league-worst 9-56 record, were looking for their first back-to-back wins of the season, after ending their 13-game skid with a win Friday night.
The Sixers led for the majority of the first three quarters, but the Pistons woke up, took control and prevailed, 125-111, on Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
The 125 points is the Pistons’ largest output in a regulation game this season.
