— Pistons center Andre Drummond can breathe a little easier now.
Not because the season is over and he has some time to refocus in the offseason, but because of the nasal surgery he had a couple weeks ago, to clear up a breathing issue he had in one of his nostrils.
It affected his breathing in previous seasons, but he hadn’t had the opportunity to get the surgery done. With the Pistons missing the playoffs and not having anything else scheduled for the spring, he was able to get the procedure done. It will keep him away from basketball activities for another month or so, but he’ll be breathing much better because of it.
