Detroit — In the preseason, the score doesn’t matter as much as the eye test. Pistons coach Dwane Casey wants to see more cohesiveness in the offense and an adherence to his philosophy of shot spectrum and taking high-percentage opportunities.
It’s coming together in the first four exhibition games, with the Pistons adjusting as they’re getting their full complement of players back from rehabilitation and prepping for the regular season.
The score wasn’t a big concern, but the Pistons fell to the Washington Wizards, 102-97, on Wednesday night at Little Caesars Arena.
Blake Griffin had 17 points and Andre Drummond 17 points and 19 rebounds for the Pistons (1-3), who finish the preseason Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Breslin Center.
