Miami — After falling into an early hole on Tuesday, the Pistons had to lean on one of their weaker points to find a way back.
Entering as one of the bottom 10 teams in the league in 3-point shooting, the Pistons started launching from beyond the arc in the second quarter — and it keyed their comeback.
They overcame an 18-point lead with a barrage of 3-pointers, including four by rookie Stanley Johnson, clawed their way back before halftime and pushed ahead in the third quarter for a 93-92 win over the Miami Heat at American Airlines Arena.
