The 2023 NBA Draft has been completed and it was a good one for the Detroit Pistons.
They didn’t play it safe, and instead took the high-ceiling Ausar Thompson, who should be a very good defender right away and has a better offensive game than many realize.
Detroit then traded up to get experienced guard prospect Marcus Sasser, a guy who also plays lockdown defense on the perimeter and was one of college basketball’s best high-volume 3-point shooters over the last two years.
