Pistons' bench struggles again in loss to Heat

MIAMI -- Stan Van Gundy may not want to admit it this time around, but the Detroit Pistons bench was crushed for a second straight game.

Behind 19 points from Wayne Ellington and 18 from Joe Johnson, the Miami Heat reserves outscored the Pistons' bench by 11 and shot 60 percent as a group in Detroit's 116-103 loss Saturday at AmericanAirlines Arena.

"Everybody had productivity out there," Van Gundy said. "(Goran) Dragic had a great night. (Dion) Waiters had a great night. Ellington had a great night. Johnson had a great night.

"It wasn't just the bench, it was a lot of guys.
