This game was pretty much decided in the second quarter.
The Nuggets bench outscored the Pistons bench 24-8. They shot 16 free throws, with just two attempts for the Pistons. They blocked six Pistons shots. They ran up a 14 point lead that the Pistons never even put a dent into.
Outside of that quarter, it was mostly competitive basketball. They even took a stab at un-deciding it in the fourth. Dwight Buycks worked himself into a groove, Stanley Johnson played some bully ball, and Andre Drummond had his only decent quarter on the offensive end.
