Now the Pistons might be showing their hand.
Less than a week ahead of the NBA draft, the Pistons traded reserve point guard Spencer Dinwiddie to the Chicago Bulls for power forward Cameron Bairstow on Friday.
The move leaves the Pistons with starting Reggie Jackson as the only point guard on the roster, assuming they don’t bring back veteran Steve Blake, who will be a free agent.
Bairstow, 25, is 6-foot-9, 250 pounds and was the Bulls’ second-round pick (49th overall) in the 2014 draft. He played with the Bulls both years but has played sparingly, averaging 1.
