Starters for the 2017 NBA All-Star Game were announced Thursday, and to no surprise the Detroit Pistons were absent.
Cleveland's Kyrie Irving and Toronto's DeMar DeRozan will represent the East in the backcourt while Cleveland's LeBron James, Chicago's Jimmy Butler and Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo comprise the frontcourt.
The starting lineups were unveiled during a one-hour special on TNT, with fan vote making up 50 percent of the vote and players and media each contributing 25 percent.
Andre Drummond, who represented the Pistons as an East reserve in 2016, failed to finish in the top 10 among East front-court players.
