New York — The Pistons went back to their old ways, but they almost changed the ending with a surprising comeback.
After getting their first win in more than a month on Sunday, they had a chance to get their first back-to-back victories since March.
Not so fast.
The Pistons rallied in the second half after a first-quarter lull dropped them into a double-digit deficit. They spent the rest of the game trying to dig out of the hole before falling to the New York Knicks, 105-91, on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden.
