The season is almost a month old, and the Golden State Warriors have yet to lose a game. Thanks to the effort of their newly coined Death Lineup, the small-ball end-of game five-man unit for the ages, the Warriors are 16-0 and have set the NBA record for the best start to a season.
In other news out west, the stunningly bad 5-9 Houston Rockets have fired head coach Kevin McHale, replacing him with assistant coach J.B. Bickerstaff. The Rockets’ ownership and front office decided that McHale had lost the locker room and that a move needed to be made, and the jury is out on just how that is going to work out at this point.
