The NBA has been wild and unpredictable this season, and the month of December was absolutely no exception. The Milwaukee Bucks finally ended the Golden State Warriors’ historic run of dominance, and briefly spawned a rivalry which flared up and died just as quickly after the Warriors beat the Bucks in a rematch and Draymond Green and O.J. Mayo engaged in some postgame scuffling.
In spite of the Warriors absurd start to the season, the San Antonio Spurs might actually be the best team in the NBA. We won’t know whether that’s true until May, most likely, but the Spurs have been grinding teams into a pulp all season while the Warriors have been leaving opponents scorched and shredded in their wake.
