Team USA begins play with an exhibition game against Nigeria on Saturday night. This will be the Detroit Pistons’ Jerami Grant making his debut game as an Olympian. The opponent has Piston teammate Jahlil Okafor.
It is kind of ironic that in Jerami Grant’s first game with Team USA, he will face a player he saw all the time in practice with the Detroit Pistons. Okafor will be at center for Nigeria.
