DETROIT - The best defensive team in the NBA came to town Monday and cooled off a hot gym - in a big way.
The Oklahoma City Thunder held the Detroit Pistons to a season-low point total and snapped their five-game winning streak with a 110-83 victory at Little Caesars Arena.
The Pistons were on a high after beating two-time defending NBA champion Golden State on Saturday. It didn't last long. They lost by their largest margin of the season.
Steven Adams led six players in double figures scoring for the Thunder with 21 points.
The Pistons (13-8), wrapping up a six-game homestand, had their six-game home winning streak snapped.
