AUBURN HILLS -- Another two-loss week as national media outlets questioning the long-term validity of the Detroit Pistons, and not in a positive way.
The Pistons fell two more points, to a 21.2 cumulative rankings, in the power rankings of six national media outlets MLive monitors each week.
Detroit's biggest slip came from Sports Illustrated, whose Andrew Lynch dropped the Pistons four spots and questioned whether they have the talent to pull off another trip to the playoffs.
Meanwhile, ESPN remains the most rosy -- moving the Pistons (16-20) up two after wins over Cleveland (minus LeBron James) and the Miami Heat, who were playing without a good chunk of their playing rotation.
