CHICAGO - Jaren Jackson Jr. struggled with his decision to turn pro, going back and forth, and at one point leaning toward returning to Michigan State.
"It was the toughest decision I ever made," Jackson said. "I loved it so much at Michigan State, my teammates, the fans, the people there, the community was very embracing."
But, he added, "My teammates and my coaches gave me the confidence to make a clear-headed decision and I think I made the right one."
Jackson is projected by many mock drafts to be selected fourth overall by the Memphis Grizzlies on June 21.
