Morris leads way as Pistons throttle Pacers

Auburn Hills — Marcus Morris has that look of invincibility.

He cannot miss. He cannot fail. On Star Wars night Morris was a shining star again with 16 points and three rebounds as the Pistons ran from the Indiana Pacers 118-96 Saturday night at the Palace.

It was a great way for the Pistons (14-11) to begin a murderers row of games that continues with the Los Angeles Clippers Monday, followed by resurgent Boston and finishes with games at Chicago, Miami and Atlanta. Every game and every moment matters because the Pistons are bunched in a NASCAR-like pack for position in the Eastern Conference.
