DALLAS -- The Detroit Pistons have a lot of ways to beat teams. But with some key injuries still afflicting the team, the Pistons used only eight players to take out the Dallas Mavericks 102-96 Wednesday at American Airlines Center.
It was a great start to a four-game road trip leading into a franchise-record nine-game homestand in the second half of March.
The Pistons (33-31) are still ninth in the Eastern Conference with 18 games to play, percentage points behind the Chicago Bulls, but are steeled by wins in their last two games and six of their last eight.
