GRAND RAPIDS - Luke Kennard was just happy to be back on any court.
The Detroit Pistons shooting guard, who has been out injured since Oct. 25, had a productive rehab game Friday with the Grand Rapids Drive, scoring a game-high 27 points on 7 of 13 shooting.
"I definitely got what I needed out of this," he said in his first action since an AC joint sprain of his right shoulder.
Most importantly, Kennard said, he was able to play without thinking about the shoulder.
"A couple times it got hit and I just rolled with it and that's what I wanted to see," he said.
