LeBron James and former Detroit Piston Isiah Thomas have been added to the list of guests for Aretha Franklin's funeral, Franklin's publicist Gwendolyn Quinn confirmed Wednesday.
Thomas, who was friends with the Queen of Soul, is one of the scheduled speakers at the ceremony, which will unfold beginning at 10 a.m. Friday at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.
They will join a host of speakers at the funeral, including former President Bill Clinton, Smokey Robinson, Clive Davis, Tyler Perry, Rev. Al Sharpton, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder and many others.
Performers at the ceremony include Stevie Wonder, Ariana Grande, Faith Hill, Ron Isley, Chaka Khan, Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson.
