The Detroit Pistons will interview Kenny Smith, the former NBA player and popular TNT commentator, for their head coaching position, Yahoo reports.
Smith has zero head coaching experience. In fact, he has zero coaching experience period. But he has 10 years of NBA playing experience, two championship rings and even played nine whole games for the Pistons during his final year in the league (during the teal era, shudder).
Smith has been rumored to want to get into coaching for a while now, but let’s be real. This would be, unequivocally, a horrible decision.
