Jon Leuer underwent successful surgery for a right medial meniscus injury that occurred during an offseason workout, the team announced Thursday.
The surgery was conducted Wednesday after the injury occurred earlier in the week during an offseason workout.
I don’t know how many times I can keep saying that Leuer had a hell of a first two-thirds of the season in his first year with the Pistons, but it's true, and at this point it's all we have.
Leuer was sporting a 60+ percent true shooting percentage and fought his way into the starting lineup as then-head coach Stan Van Gundy looked to switch things up for a team that was struggling on offense overall.
