Jackson’s rise goes hand in hand with surge in Pistons offensive productivity

A coach usually sees the glass as half-empty.

“You’re always worried that the next 10-game losing streak is going to start that day,” Stan Van Gundy lamented as he prepared for Wednesday’s game with Phoenix. “It keeps you on edge, I guess.”

The Pistons won, so they have a two-game winning streak instead. Over those two games, they’ve made better than half their shots. That gives them a grand total of three games this season where they’ve shot 50 percent or better against eight of their 19 games where they’ve shot less than 40 percent.

So have they figured it out offensively?
