The Detroit Pistons headed into the offseason with some important decisions to make regarding their own players.
The 2020 draft class is eligible for rookie extensions this summer, and the Pistons have three players in Isaiah Stewart, Killian Hayes and James Wiseman who were all up for long-term extensions to stay with the team.
We already got the answer on Stewart, who the Pistons gave a four-year extension, but Hayes and Wiseman are still up in the air.
It seems extremely unlikely that Detroit would offer either one of them an extension, as Killian Hayes hasn’t been good enough and James Wiseman hasn’t played enough for the Pistons to make that kind of long-term commitment.
