Drazen Petrovic averaged 22 points a game as a 28-year-old New Jersey Net and was just entering his prime when he died in a car crash in Europe after the 1992-93 season. The NBA’s best defensive shooting guard of his era, Joe Dumars, found Petrovic one of his most confounding matchups for the creativity of his scoring repertoire.
