Aaron Harrison was a McDonald’s All-American talked about as a one-and-done lottery pick before he ever got to Kentucky. Tyler Harvey scraped out a scholarship offer from obscure Eastern Washington, about as far from the NBA as it gets.
They both auditioned for the Pistons on Tuesday to put a cap on a whirlwind month of workouts that’s taken them from one coast to the other and back.
“Everybody’s journey is different,” Harvey said. “Mine wasn’t All-American or anything like that, but I’m just a hard worker and just trust in God and I got to this point right now.
