Detroit — Before Blake Griffin even stepped off a plane on a chilly, Metro Detroit runway this week, and before he put on a Pistons uniform for the first time Wednesday, hundreds — if not thousands — of Pistons fans put on his jersey first.
During Tuesday’s home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Pistons sold out of Griffin's No. 23 Pistons jerseys at Little Caesars Arena, the team confirmed, though it couldn't provide specific numbers on how many were sold.
More jerseys were to be available for Thursday night's game against Memphis.
