The Detroit Pistons hit the road Wednesday night to play the Chicago Bulls, and they did work in a 114-91 win. Now, this is still just the preseason, and the Pistons seem to have a pattern so far of not following up great outings with similarly excellent efforts, but this was a strong one.
The Pistons took a game that was close entering the final period, and blew the Bulls out of the water with a 38-16 fourth. They kept the turnovers down to a preseason-low 12, held the Bulls to 42% shooting from the floor and 29% from long range, and we may have seen a young Piston play his way onto the opening night roster.
