Detroit — Since 1988, the Pistons have been a fixture at The Palace of Auburn Hills, since moving from the Pontiac Silverdome.
There have been intimations that the Pistons could be considering moving to downtown Detroit, though, and those wheels look to be in motion again.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver, who was in town Monday for the Pistons game against the Chicago Bulls and at an announcement for the Pistons’ community partnership with S.A.Y. Detroit, along with Pistons owner Tom Gores, said there was more business they would discuss.
Gores hired Arn Tellem, a former sports agent, as vice chairman of Palace Sports and Entertainment in August.
