Well, Detroit Pistons fans, like it or not, the Blake Griffin acquisition is probably the most exciting thing to happen to the franchise in … who knows, really.
In a stunning move Monday, the Pistons made a blockbuster trade with the Los Angeles Clippers that sent Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley and Boban Marjanovic packing for Hollywood. Additionally, the Pistons are giving up a protected first-round pick and a second-round draft choice.
It’ll be quite the culture shock for Griffin, a 6-foot-10, 251-pound freakishly athletic power forward, but maybe he can be the spark that both the Pistons and Little Caesars Arena need.
