Michael Gbinije, released this offseason by the Detroit Pistons, has signed a new deal with the Golden State Warriors, according to news reports.
The former Syracuse star guard has a chance to earn the final roster spot with the Warriors or play for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League. There is no indication what kind of deal Gbinije signed or if there is any guaranteed money involved.
The Warriors have one two-way player already in Chris Boucher. A two-way contract player can alternate between the NBA team and the G League without counting against the team’s 15-man roster.
