GRAND RAPIDS - Kahil "Kay" Felder never expected the road out of Detroit and into the NBA would ever take him back to Michigan so soon and the chance to play for his favorite organization growing up.
The 22-year-old signed a two-way contract with the Detroit Pistons on Monday, joined the G League's Grand Rapids Drive for his first practice Tuesday and is expected to play - with family members in attendance - in Wednesday's 7 p.m. home game against Windy City.
"It's a beautiful thing and a blessing to have my family see me play more often.
