Rasheed Wallace hasn’t forgotten his time in the Metro Detroit area, having played for six seasons with the Detroit Pistons. He made his second visit since February to the stricken city of Flint, Michigan, an area suffering from lead-poisoned water, and brought with him fellow former NBA player Stephen Jackson and a truck full of bottled water.
Along to document the voyage was ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, who recorded the proceedings on her Snapchat and Instagram accounts and combined them into a video she put on Facebook.
In the video, Sheed is seeing buying up all the cases of bottled water at a local Target, and it’s noted that he had done the same thing at an area Walmart.
