Two of the best picks in NBA history by draft slot belong to the Detroit Pistons, according to ESPN.com.
ESPN took a look at the best players drafted between Nos. 1-60 and former Pistons Dennis Rodman and Mehmet Okur both made the list.
Rodman was projected to be a first-round pick in 1986 and the Pistons were thinking about taking him at No. 11. But they also wanted John Salley of Georgia Tech.
NBA draft history filled with more misses than hits for Detroit Pistons
For every Isiah Thomas, Bob Lanier or Dave Bing the Pistons drafted, there was a Darko Milicic, Fennis Dembo or Roy Hamilton.
