Las Vegas — It’s just Summer League.
That’s the takeaway from the Pistons’ 90-63 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in Friday's opener in the Las Vegas Summer League at Cox Pavilion.
The Pistons were shorthanded, playing without Luke Kennard (left knee strain) and two-way player Keenan Evans (foot).
It didn’t make much of a difference.
The Pistons didn’t shoot the ball well in the first quarter and fell into a 14-8 hole, converting only three field goals in the 10-minute period. Rookie Khyri Thomas had a good debut, scoring five of his seven points in the first quarter, with a 3-pointer and a jumper.
