Dinwiddie, Hilliard likely to see playing time in G.R.

Auburn Hills — Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy is looking to get some playing time for guards Spencer Dinwiddie and Darrun Hilliard.

The problem is that with a tight playing rotation, it's been difficult to get the two young players some time in games.

So, Van Gundy is likely to send them to the Grand Rapids Drive, the Pistons' affiliate in the NBA Development League, for some extended work.

Dinwiddie, in his second season, hasn't played in the last five games, but had a good stint of five games, including 17 points against the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov.
