One of the interesting subplots of this year’s NBA Playoffs is just how many ex-Detroit Pistons are playing a big role.
There is at least one ex-Piston on every team remaining in the playoffs, with nine players left who used to play in the Motor City.
There were 20 when the playoffs began, proof that the Pistons were really good at developing and hoarding role players but not so good at finding the star to put them around.
