This year, it became even more apparent that the Detroit Pistons really lack when it comes to consistent three-point shooting. Jerami Grant, Hamidou Diallo, and Killian Hayes are all good playmakers, but aside from Saddiq Bey, there are no options for catch-and-shoot opportunities.
The Detroit Pistons are currently 21st in the NBA in 3-point percentage and attempts, so they are not only shooting too few but are not making enough of the ones they do shoot.
Detroit could find a shooting threat in the draft, but with a high lottery pick, they will probably focus on drafting a cornerstone of the franchise who creates his own plays, not someone who makes a living waiting for a kick out and hitting open shots.
