The Detroit Pistons had hoped Steve Blake would be able to run their second unit until Brandon Jennings returned from his injury, or until Spencer Dinwiddie proved he could play consistently–whichever came first.
Unfortunately, Blake went down with a concussion before he could even play a preseason game.
But now that his concussion systems are clearing, it looks like Blake will be returning soon.
“It’s been a long process for me but it’s coming down toward the end; I have a few days left and I’ll be ready to go,” Blake said Monday at Eastern Market as part of the Detroit Slow Roll event.
