After adding several guards and wings over the past few weeks, the Detroit Pistons addressed their front court on Sunday by signing center Zaza Pachulia to a one-year, $2.4 million contract, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.
The 6-11 Pachulia, 34, played for the Golden State Warriors the past two seasons, winning a pair of NBA Championships. He appeared in 69 games in 2017-18, starting in 57, and averaged 5.4 points and 4.7 rebounds in 14 minutes.
To make room the Pistons waived center Eric Moreland, whose contract for next season ($1.8 million) would have become fully guaranteed on Sunday.
