The Detroit Pistons have had a depth issue at the guard position all season, with point guard Brandon Jennings being out for most of the season as he recovered from a ruptured Achilles until he was traded at the NBA trade deadline, and Jodie Meeks suffering a Jones fracture in the Pistons’ home opener which has led to him missing the remainder of the season.
In order to combat this issue, the Pistons signed guard Lorenzo Brown to a contract that will have him on the roster for the rest of the regular season and playoffs.
The Pistons plan to sign Grand Rapids guard Lorenzo Brown for the season, with team option for 2016-17, league sources tell The Vertical.
