Reggie Jackson of the Detroit Pistons was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week on Monday, with Kawhi Leonard of the San Antonio Spurs winning the award in the Western Conference.
This comes on the heels of a great week for Jackson, as he led the Pistons to a 2-1 record against three playoff contenders in the Los Angeles Clippers, the Boston Celtics and the Chicago Bulls.
Jackson averaged 29.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 7.7 assists last week with shooting splits of .459/.375/.829. In the final game of the week against the Bulls, a four-overtime classic that the Pistons won by a 147-144 final score, Jackson scored all 11 Piston points and finished the game with 49 minutes of action.
