The Detroit Pistons named Bernard Condevaux medical director and Jim Scholler head athletic trainer, the team announced Wednesday.
It is a homecoming for both Condevaux and Scholler, two Michigan natives who return to the mitten state after several years working across the country.
Condevaux has decades working with cycling athletes through USA Cycling and other groups and talking about orthopedic and injury issues related to cycling. He is most recently the Physical Therapy Director for Panorama Orthopedics in Golden, Colorado. Colorado is a major hub of Olympic athlete training in the U.S. he has worked on staff for several Pan American Games and Olympic Games.
