The Detroit Pistons held off a late surge from Trevor Ariza and the Washington Wizards to get back to .500, winning 106-95.
After going on a 22-2 run in the third quarter, the Pistons were up by 20 points. It looked like they were going to runaway with a home win against these Wizards, but then Ariza erupted.
Ariza hit five threes in the second half, on his way to scoring 16 points in the game. Ariza hadn’t hit a field goal the entire game, and his five threes in the second half were his only made field goals in the game.
